On the 8th and 9th of February, 2022 (last week), the Yudeen Events Centre at the Egbeda axis of Lagos was lit up with a very powerful event in the cake industry; The Cake Experience!
This was yet another gathering of the industry’s professionals and amateurs in one hall, meeting and greeting, learning and networking, buying and selling etc. The 2 day event was action packed as many notable players in the Nigerian baking industry were live in the show to teach and interact with each other. This form of show always provides opportunities bakers to buy items (tools and ingredients) at a discounted rate while also learning new techniques in baking/ decorating.

The convener of the show, Mrs Esther Aihku who is also the CEO of Glamour Gold Cakes expressed her joy and satisfaction when the crew of 24/7 Cake Affairs interviewed her. In her words, “For me I feel really good… its was an Eventful Time out with many top bakers and everyone in the industry.” In her closing remarks, she thanked all the instructors and the facilitators for the energy they exhibited at the classes.
